Dr. Porter graduated from Brigham Young University in 1984 after completing his L.D.S. mission in Argentina. He graduated first in his class from the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency at Madigan Army Medical Center. In addition to his medical spa practice, Dr. Porter also teaches at the Kirksville College. In his spare time, Dr. Porter spends time outdoors with his wife and five children.
